Mara Fusero Feldenkrais Trainer

DR. MARA FUSERO

Director of the Centre and Feldenkrais® Trainer

Dr. Mara Fusero founded the Centro in 1989 and has directed it ever since.

She graduated in physiotherapy and is enrolled in the Italian register of psychologists. She became a Feldenkrais® Practitioner in 1988, after attending the first ever European Feldenkrais® training “Paris 1”, directed by Miriam Pfeffer.

In 2010, Mara became a Feldenkrais® Trainer, certified by the international TABs. Since then, she has been Educational Director of several professional trainings both in Italy and abroad and she regularly teaches in international trainings as guest Trainer.

She is also a Bones for Life® Trainer and completed the Jeremy Krauss Approach (JKA) and Periné, Integración y Movimiento trainings.

Mara also teaches post-trainings courses for Feldenkrais® practitioners and Feldenkrais® courses for physiotherapists recognised by the Italian Ministry of Health.

Her scientific background and studies deeply influence her teaching style, enriching it with detailed anatomical references and the application of functional anatomy.

Her hobbies are cooking (she is famous for her culinary references when teaching anatomy!), gardening, walking and recycling old objects, giving them a new life.

Mara teaches weekly group lessons of Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) and gives Functional Integrations® (FIs) by appointment.

Ettore Porcari - Trainer Feldenkrais

ETTORE PORCARI

Experienced Feldenkrais® Practitioner

After several injuries to his knees, Ettore was forced to abandon his career as professional football player. He then decided to dedicate himself to the study of the “human being in sports” from a different point of view. He studied and practiced several types of disciplines and massages, but his belief that athletic skills are a result of functional organisation rather than pure mechanics brought him to the Feldenkrais® method.

He attended the first ever Italian Feldenkrais® professional training “Milan 1”, directed by Ruthy Alon and, in 1992, became a Feldenkrais® Practitioner. Since then, he never stopped practicing the Method. Ettore also practices Mei Hua Zhuang, a self-defence martial art, and studied Chinese traditional medicine.

Ettore has been working with the Centre since 1992 and has been involved in the organisation of 8 professional Feldenkrais® trainings. He also works in the trainings as Experienced Practitioner and Mentor.

He lives in Vignale Monferrato, where he takes care of his farmstead, with fruit and vegetable gardens and animals. Ettore loves nature, sports (especially cycling) and animals (in fact, he often talks to them).

Ettore is available for Functional Integration® by appointment.

AGNESE PORCARI

Administrator of the Centro and Feldenkrais® Practitioner

After dedicating her academic life to Cultures and Languages and getting a Master in Translation and Interpreting, Agnese opted for a change of career and got her Feldenkrais® certificate in 2023.

She takes care of the administrative and organisational side of the Feldenkrais Centre and has organised 3 Feldenkrais trainings.

She gives ATM group lessons and is available to give FI lessons in the Milan practice.

She holds a Stage 2 British Horse Society certificate, and her hobbies are horse riding, cycling, running and gardening.
